Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These terms govern use of GBP Manager (“the Service”), operated by The GBP Experts (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. The Service
GBP Manager helps you manage Google Business Profile listings: viewing and editing listing details, monitoring changes, handling reviews, publishing posts and photos, and measuring local search visibility. Features may change as the Service develops.
2. Accounts and access
- Accounts are created by invitation from an administrator in your organisation.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- Your administrator controls which listings you can see and what you can do, and can remove your access.
- Tell us promptly at support@gbp-manager.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
3. Connecting your Google account
The Service works by acting on your behalf against Google’s APIs, using permissions you grant through Google’s consent screen. You confirm you are authorised to manage the Business Profiles you connect. Your use of Google Business Profile remains subject to Google’s own terms and to its Business Profile guidelines — including its policies on reviews. Nothing here overrides them.
You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Doing so will stop syncing and any automated features for the affected listings.
4. Your content and data
Your listing information, media and other content remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store, process and transmit it as needed to provide the Service. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Manage listings you are not authorised to manage, or misrepresent a business.
- Publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or in breach of Google’s policies — including fake or incentivised reviews.
- Attempt to gain access to another customer’s data, or to probe or disrupt the Service.
- Resell or provide access to the Service outside your organisation without our agreement.
We may suspend access that breaches these terms or puts the Service or other customers at risk.
6. AI-generated content
Some features draft text using AI — review replies, listing descriptions and posts. This output can be inaccurate or unsuitable, and you are responsible for what is published under your business’s name. Where you enable automatic replies, you accept that content is posted without prior human review, and you can turn that setting off at any time.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. It depends on Google’s APIs and other third parties, and may be affected by their outages, rate limits or changes. We may perform maintenance, and will try to minimise disruption.
8. Fees
Where the Service is provided under a paid agreement, the fees, billing period and renewal terms are those set out in that agreement, which takes precedence over this section.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; your administrator can close the account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or on reasonable notice. On termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant any particular ranking, visibility or business outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account administrators by email before taking effect, and the date above will be updated. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
